I build it, then make sure your team can run it without me
Nine years building the systems that governments, hospitals, schools and farmers actually run on, and teaching thousands of people to build their own.
I am the lead developer of ULITS, Uganda’s national livestock traceability platform for the Ministry of Agriculture: every animal identified, every movement tracked, every vaccination recorded, on phones that keep working when the network does not. Alongside it I have built the Wildlife Offenders Database for the Uganda Wildlife Authority, the National Seed Tracking system, and school, hospital and human-rights platforms serving thousands of daily users.
The work is end to end. I sit with the people who will use a system, design the architecture, write the code, deploy it, and then train the staff who have to keep it alive after I have gone. That last part is the one most projects skip, and it is the one that decides whether anything is still running a year later.
The other half of my week is teaching. Over 200 tutorials and 23,000 subscribers on Learn It With Muhindo, plus the courses on this site that take somebody from their first HTML tag to a deployed application. I am also completing an MSc in Computer Science at Makerere University, researching blockchain-secured federated learning for livestock disease early warning.

National platforms for ministries and agencies, including livestock traceability, seed tracking and wildlife enforcement. Built to survive audit and staff turnover.
Works without signal
Field apps that capture data offline and sync when a connection returns, because the places this work matters most are the places the network is worst.
The whole lifecycle
Requirements, architecture, build, deployment. Then the staff training that decides whether any of it is still running a year later.
Teaching it
200+ tutorials and over 23,000 subscribers, plus the courses on this site that take someone from their first HTML tag to a deployed application. I still code every day, which is the only reason the teaching makes sense.
